Hospitals for Humanity is a nonprofit organization designed to decrease
barriers to health care for people living in the least developed countries in
the world. Our goal is to provide medical attention, thereby improving the
quality of life for those who are in the greatest need. Through the
construction of modern medical facilities and organizing Medical Mission
Initiatives (MMI), Hospitals for Humanity strives to build a lasting
infrastructure to carry out sustained improvements in the global health care
delivery system.
Many hospitals and clinics in economically distressed countries operate
without basic medical supplies, prescription drugs, or laboratory
equipment. Hospitals for Humanity, in partnership with volunteer medical
professionals and in-country investors, offers sustainable and relevant
solutions focused on improving access to quality health care in the
developing world.  To this end, Hospitals For Humanity is committed to
long-term community development; including helping to build state of the art
medical facilities and upgrading existing hospitals and clinics to adequately
meet the needs of under-served people facing the challenges of poor health
and disease.
Our Mission
The Need
The Process
Hospitals for Humanity intends to source local health care providers to
manage these new medical facilities. Our hospital administrators and
physicians will provide the expertise needed to guide the local health care
providers and provide them with all the necessary tools required to operate
the facilities independently. Our experts will help train local healthcare
workers to enhance and perfect their skills in the latest treatment modalities
and protocols to better serve their patients.

Hospitals for Humanity will set the foundation for the administrative and
healthcare aspects of these new medical facilities. At Hospitals For
Humanity we believe self-sufficiency and effective operations are achieved
through best practices in setting and managing healthcare resources.
These best practices include: establishing a culture of accountability, using
comparative benchmarks, setting accurate high-performance department
budgets, managing expenses, monitoring variances, and when needed,
implementing corrective action plans.

Ultimately, it is Hospitals For Humanity’s goal to remove structural barriers
to quality healthcare. With time, effort, and cooperation we can make an
enormous difference in thousands of lives.
