Mary Halima Afegbua

A seasoned Human Resource and Legal Professional with over 12 years’ extensive experience in Human Resource Management and Legal practice. She holds sound practical knowledge in key Human Resources and Legal in Organizational Leadership functions including Corporate Governance, Compliance Management and Contract Management & Negotiation.

Halima brings a rich blend of solid legal knowledge and expertise and holds a growing record of sterling performance in aligning people, resources and processes in the attainment of strategic objectives.

In addition to her current position as Head, of Legal Services in the Nigerian operations of HFH, her passion for making a difference leads her to volunteer in various capacities in different NGOs in Nigeria.

Halima also recently set up her own NGO, Love Unrestrained Initiative, in April 2021 in Nigeria, which caters to the well-being of widows and vulnerable persons in Nigerian society.
