Mrs. Adenike Ogunlesi

Mrs. Adenike Ogunlesi is an entrepreneur, business leader, visionary, and public speaker. She is a pioneer in Africa’s fashion industry, possessing extensive experience in both fashion and retail businesses. Mrs. O., as she is fondly called, has played a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of the fashion business on the continent. She is the visionary founder of Gatimo Limited and creative director of Africa’s leading premium children’s clothing brand: Ruff ‘n’ tumble. Ruff ‘n’ Tumble is the foremost indigenous lifestyle brand, creating exquisite designs, manufacturing, and retailing children’s clothing. She is also the driving force behind Gatimo Apparel Manufacturing, a cutting-edge facility recognized for producing high-quality garments with international standards.

An alumna of the prestigious Lagos Business School, Mrs. Ogunlesi has received several awards. She was a finalist at CNBC AABLA (All Africa Business Leaders Awards) in the category of Business Women of the Year 2014 and 2015. Mrs. O. is the founding member and first president of the Network of Entrepreneurial Women (NEW) at the Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA). She is an advisory board member and mentor at WISCAR (Women in Successful Careers), a structured mentoring program for young women.

She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Lafarge Africa Plc. Her entrepreneurial prowess extends beyond fashion; Mrs. O. is a dynamic innovator, compelling speaker, and staunch advocate for women’s empowerment.
